I’m Savanna, a Chicago actor!

I knew I wanted to be an actor when I was ten, sitting in the audience of Annie. An usher saw my red hair and joked that if Annie got hurt, they’d have to get me to take her place. Totally excited by the opportunity, I spent the rest of the show mouthing Annie’s lines and hoping she’d break her leg. (I didn’t learn about understudies until a lot later.)

Both then/now, acting was a perfect fit for me, being that I was/am:

• always too eager, never mastered the whole “cool” thing,

• easily moved by the stories of others, and frequently found crying at commercials,

• very hard working, awarded Most Improved in middle school gym class.
